Presbyterian is seeking a Pharmacy Technician. Working as an inpatient pharmacy technician means being deeply embedded in the hospital’s daily rhythm, where accuracy and efficiency are critical to patient care. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the technician fills medication orders, pre-packages and compounds pharmaceuticals, refills stock supplies, and ensures timely delivery of medications to nursing units and patient floors. Beyond these core responsibilities, they also perform various clerical duties—from maintaining inventory records to updating patient medication profiles—helping to keep operations smooth and compliant. In this fast-paced environment, every task contributes to the safe and effective treatment of patients, making the role both technically demanding and profoundly meaningful.

This position is eligible for the Northern New Mexico differential of $4.00 per hour. (This differential may be adjusted or discontinued based on business requirements.
Meets and demonstrates competency in all Pharmacy Tech I and II criteria
Successfully completes training, maintains competence and primary responsibility in:
Preparation of sterile medication
Preparation of pediatric sterile and non-sterile medications
Alternatively, holds primary responsibility for controlled substance inventory, distribution, and disposal
Responsible for adherence to the Department Compliance Plan for Controlled Substances
Performs other functions as required
