The RRT Manager, oversees daily operations and works in conjunction with nursing leadership. Come and join our Pulmonary Therapy team. The manager is responsible for fostering a supportive environment for both families and staff—championing quality improvement initiatives, promoting education and professional growth, and ensuring that the birthing experience is guided by empathy, clinical excellence, and respect for individual needs.

At Presbyterian Espanola Hospital, you'll join a supportive, dynamic, proactive, and collaborative team that includes surgical techs, nurses and physicians in the beautiful northern New Mexico location of Espanola Valley. Just north of Santa Fe, Espanola is nestled between the Jemez and Sangre de Cristo mountain ranges and the meeting points of three rivers, the Rio Grande, the Rio Chama and the Rio Santa Cruz.
Assists Department Director with preparation and ongoing review of CNM Pulmonary Services and EEG budget
Monthly evaluation of cost centers within the department through the DMR and the equipment/order tracking process, including monthly costs per Unit of Service, and department productivity reports
Maintains capital equipment records, to include new acquisitions, trading, selling and tracking of capital equipment; oversees departmental non-capital equipment issues
Drafts new departmental procedures, structure standards, techniques and competencies and reviews/revises existing ones
Participates in departmental QM plan and Joint Commission readiness
Serves as liaison to state respiratory care educational programs and clinical rotations at PHS
Direct supervision of Pulmonary Tech I, Inventory Clerk, and Pulmonary Supervisors, including performance evaluations and counseling
Participates in programs for Respiratory staff, attends meetings, and serves on committees as needed; enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, current literature, and workshops
Develops and oversees staff education and interdepartmental education programs
Oversees Pulmonary Services Clinical Career Ladder
Directs candidate screening, interview scheduling, and hiring via People Click program
Carries out the responsibilities of the Department Director in his/her absence
Three to five years experience in management
